Introduction

NSIC Registration is a government recognition granted to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) under the Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS) of the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). The registration enables eligible enterprises to participate in Central and State Government tenders, PSU tenders, and public procurement processes with various financial and procedural benefits.

Through NSIC Registration, an enterprise is enrolled under the Single Point Registration Scheme, which provides exemptions such as waiver of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and free tender documents. This registration is especially beneficial for MSMEs looking to expand their business by supplying goods or services to government departments and public sector undertakings.

NSIC Registration does not replace MSME/Udyam Registration but works in addition to it. While Udyam provides MSME recognition, NSIC Registration specifically enables tenderrelated benefits and government procurement support. Operating without NSIC Registration does not attract penalties, but businesses may lose significant opportunities in government procurement.
